Daniel M. Myshin was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania in 1956 and graduated from Monessen High School (1974); Indiana University of Pennsylvania (B.S. 1978); and Ohio Northern University (J.D. 1983).

Admitted to the practice of law by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1984, Dan was subsequently admitted to practice by the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1993. Dan is also admitted to practice in the federal district courts of the Western District of Pennsylvania in 1984 and the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2001. He is also admitted to practice before the Third (1986) and Eighth (1995) Circuit Courts of Appeal. In 1988, Dan was honored to be admitted to argue appeals before the United States Supreme Court.

Dan's clients have benefited from his broad scope of practice. From 1984 through 1988, he served as Assistant District Attorney in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania prosecuting to jury defendants charged with all manners of misdemeanor and felony offenses ranging from corruption of minors and driving under the influence of alcohol, through more serious felonies such as aggravated assault, burglary, rape and homicide. From 1989 through 1993 Dan Myshin was actively engaged in the private practice of law with his father. The firm represented diverse clients in personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and estate administration matters in Westmoreland, Allegheny, Washington, and Fayette Counties. During this period of private practice, Dan served as co-solicitor for several municipalities, including the City of Monessen, the School District of the City of Monessen, and the Rostraver Township Zoning Hearing Board. Dan also served as solicitor for the Mon Valley chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police. In 1993 Dan relocated to Rochester, Minnesota and during the period from 1993 through 1996 he associated with a well-known personal injury and family law practice in Southeastern Minnesota. While in Minnesota, Dan represented clients suffering a wide variety of serious and permanent injuries primarily due to the negligence of others. Returning to Pennsylvania in 1997, Dan Myshin now represents clients in various federal and state courts throughout the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
